Most Handsome hero of Tamil Cinema, Surya's latest film Ayan is all set to release by April 3rd. This new film from Surya is a much expected film just because that it will feature the first time pairing of Surya with the most happening actress in South, Tamanna. Another factors behind the huge expectation of the film is that the faith in the talent of director K.V. Anand and the high production values of AVM Productions and Sun Pictures.

nand, who made an impression with his earlier film Kana Kandaen, says Ayan is a commercial film handled with logic. A popular Mumbai face Akashdeep Saigal plays the baddie. According to the director, the name of the film, Ayan means one who is unique and stands apart, it also refers to Brahma, and in Arabic, it means God’s gift. The hero of this film, a bubbly young man, is all these and more.

Franz Spilhaus, a stunt team, who worked for Hollywood movies like The Poseidon Adventure and King Solomon’s Mines have choreographed the stunt sequences in this film. Harris Jayaraj’s musical score is a strong point for the movie. Interestingly the movie was shot in various countries like Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia. A stunt sequence shot on Zanzibar, an island, is the highlight of the movie.

The other credits are M S Prabhu (cinematography), K V Anand and Subha (story and screenplay), Antony (editing), S P Muthuraman (co-producer). This new film, which is all set to reach the theatres by April 3rd as the big summer release is a sure summer special.

Trisha going to act in Malayalam film

Tamil actress Trisha, who has lots of admirers in Kerala, finally gets ready to make her entry into Malayalam Cinema.
Trisha’s debut in Malayalam will be with a B. Unnikrishnan-directed movie. B. Unnikrishnan, who is now directing the Suresh Gopi-starrer ‘I.G’, will go on to do this film after shoot for ‘I.G’ is over.
The new film, in which Trisha will play the female lead role, will have Suresh Gopi starring opposite to her. The film will be produced by P. Rajan under the banner of Vaishakha Films and is likely to start rolling by September this year, as per reports.

Directed by KV Anand, ‘Ayan’ promises to be a pacy entertainer with that winning blend of action and romance.

The actor, who is doing this film after ‘Varanam Aayiram’, says ‘Ayan’ is the best movie to follow a success like ‘Varanam Aayiram’. "It's one of the most stylish commercial films ever shot and has turned out to be a roller coaster experience," says the actor. Sun Network has bought the rights for this Suriya - Tamannah starrer.

Fazil with Mouse and Cat

Fazil, one of the notable directors of Malayalam film industry is back in direction after a gap of about 4 years. Dileep is doning the lead role in this film and it is for the first time that Dileep and Fazil are teaming together for a film. 'Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded for march 26, ‘IG’ for April 3

Asin Thottumkal (born October 26, 1985) is an Indian film actress from the state of Kerala. She is currently considered to be one of the most popular actresses in the South Indian film industry.

Jab we met to be remaked by Mani Ratnam

We know Mani Ratnam is one of the astonishing film directo in the tamil film Indastry..Now he is going to remake a picture. Shooting of the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit “Jab We Met”, being directed by Mani Ratnam’s protege Kannan, has begun in the city.
The shooting began Wednesday in a temple attached to the massive AVM studios in the southwest suburbs here.
The original film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is being remade in Tamil jointly by Moser Baer and Blue Ocean Entertainment. It stars Bharath and Tamannaah.
The Tamil version has been scripted by Pattukkottai Prabhakar.
Mani Ratnam was among several directors present during the launch. The shooting schedule is expected to last 35 days. Composer Vidyasagar is scoring the music, a press statement from Moser Baer said.

Newbie Anushka Sharma is not contractually bound to do films only with Yashraj Films .
She got a dream launch in Bollywood with YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan. But the lure of this dream launch did not tempt Anushka to sign any contract with YRF that would restrict her from working with other banners.
Asin , another Bollywood debutante of 2008, for instance, was contractually bound by the makers of Ghajini not to do any other Hindi film before the movie’s release. But Anushka did not falls for any such contract. Even though she has a three-film deal with YRF, she says she is free to do films with other production houses as well.
The saucy belle is nowadays busy reading a number of scripts. Offers have been pouring in since the release of ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, but Anushka is taking her time to pick the right film that can take her career forward.
According to the buzz, work is already underway for Anushka’s next project with Yashraj Films. It would be directed by actor Parmeet Sethi and would star Shahid Kapur in the lead.

Preview: Body Guard

Body Guard is the latest flick from Dileep-Siddique team.Hit-making director Siddique, who gave us blockbuster entertainers like Friends, Hitler and Chronic Bachelor, now returns to Mollywood after a gap. The last film he directed was the Tamil film Sadhu Mirandaa, with Prasanna, Kavya Madhavan and Abbas in the lead.

Siddique makes his comeback to Malayalam with Bodyguard, teaming up with Dileep for the first time. Bodyguard, scripted by Siddique himself, tells the story of Jayakrishnan, a young guy with a very strange habit.Nayanthara is the heroine of Dileep in the movie. Ever since his childhood he was attracted to anyone who showed a trace of heroism. There was a time when he adored cops for their heroism. And then when he grew up to find that there were crooks who could out do the cops, he started admiring them.

Another strange thing about Jayakrishnan is that whenever he develops an admiration towards a person, he would prefer to move along with that person as sort of a bodyguard. It was thus that he started admiring Ashokan, a former liquor baron who is now a leading businessman and a very influential person. Jayakrishnan wants to be Ashokan's bodyguard, but the fact is that Ashokan doesn't need a bodyguard. But since Jayakrishnan approaches Ashokan with recommendation from someone he cannot refuse, he appoints Jayakrishnan as a bodyguard.

As part of his new job, Jayakrishnan moves along with Ammu, Ashokan's daughter, as her bodyguard. Interesting things happen when Jayakrishnan accompanies Ammu to her college. What follows then forms the rest of the plot.While Dileep becomes Jayakrishnan, Nayantara makes a comeback to Malayalam after a gap of four years, playing the role of Ammu. Thyagarajan becomes Ashokan. The film also features in the cast debutante actress Mithra. Bodyguard, like Siddique's earlier films, will have enough of humour, but is likely to be romantic too.

Actor-producer Lal of director duo Siddique-Lal debuts as an independent director with his upcoming To Harihar Nagar, a sequel to yesteryear blockbuster In Harihar Nagar (1990). According to sources, To Harihar Nagar is almost complete and is getting Ready for release on April 2, 2009.Produced by Lal Creations and PNV Associates, To Harihar Nagar will be an out-and-out comedy entertainer
, depicting the story of four intimate friends Mahadevan (Mukesh), Govindan Kutty (Siddique), Appukuttan (Jagadeesh), and Thomas Kutty (Asokan) who all live in different places after their marriages
. Coincidentally, they all are back in Harihar Nagar after some years.The plot picks up when heroine Lakshmi Rai comes to stay in Harihar Nagar. The film revolves around the never-abandoned mischievous behaviour of the four Heroes even after marriage. Rohini dons the role of an engineer (Mukesh's wife), Lena plays a financial adviser in Dubai (Siddique's wife), Fabi plays a doctor (Jagadeesh's wife) and Rakhi plays a housewife (Asokan's wife)."Though they have become older, their basic instincts and characters remain the same. In the sequel, the four-member gang runs into trouble when they try to woo their beautiful neighbour,” said director Lal, who also handles the script. Dileep - Sreenivasan starrer 'Passenger'

After a very long period of time, two of the popular actors in Malayalam film industry, Dileep and Sreenivasan are going to act together. They will be seen together in a movie which is titled as Passenger. The film which will feature Mamta Mohandas as the heroine will be directed by the debutant writer-director Ranjit Shankar.

The film is all about an officer played by Sreenivasan working in an export firm in Kochi who travels to his work in a local passenger train from a small town. Dileep plays an advocate who meets him in the train leading to an interesting twist in the story. The film will also feature Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Nedumudi Venu, Harisri Asokhan and others in the cast.

The film which is being produced under the banner of Vijay combines, will reach the theatres by the date of May 7th.

Mammotty's is coming with Pattanathil Bootham this vishu.Megastar Mammootty is one again teaming up with hit maker Johny Antony for the movie ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’,after the super hit ‘Thuruppu Ghulaan’. Kavya Madhavan is the heroine of the film and this is her first film after her marriage.

Mammooty and Johny antony actually planned for the new generation who loves Superman and spider man series, this is essentially a visual effects fantasy movie as the name implies. The major highlights of the movie are the double roles of Mammootty.Mamoottie's last double role movie annan thampi was a mega hit.

The superstar will be appearing as Jimmy, an adventurous bike jumper in a circus company and the second role is the key to the movie, a friendly ghost who is particularly interested to maintain friendships with children. Jimmy is an orphan who is reared up by Krishnettan (Innocent) who runs a street circus group. Jimmy and Sisupalan (Suraj Venjaramoodu), are the expert bike jumpers and their daredevil jump acts are the major highlights of the group. Jimmy is also a main enemy of the big mafia associated with begging industry, and has saved many street children from this gang of goons. These children ultimately become a part of Jimmy's family. When Jimmy and Krishnetten join the big Jumbo circus group, run by Philipose, the children also move with them.

Later Jimmy is falsely accused of an offence and is sent to jail which leave the children with no one to care off.Into these troublesome conditions arrives the ghost, who helps the children from further worries. The ghost who befriends children also uses his super natural powers to fight the injustice in the society,Kavya Madhavan who recently entered wedlock plays Mammootty's heroine for the first time in this movie. She is Ancy, a management graduate and the daughter of Philippose.

Johny Antony, the director is sure that the main target audience of the movie will be definitely the kids and the families.The director says ''We are mixing reality and fantasy in logical sequences, to create a fun-filled entertainer. The movie will have extensive use of new visual effects and computer graphics”. ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’ is scripted by Siby K Thomas - Udhay Krissna duo who is now fresh after their bumper hit ‘Twenty:20’.

Suresh Gopi will have his ‘IG’ - an investigative drama, with director B. Unnikrishanan for the season, while Dileep is trying in every way possible to get his movie with veteran director Faazil ‘Moses D Samuel’ on theatres for the Vishu holidays.As per the latest reports Mammootty will have two releases in the same month. His bilingual ‘Vande Mataram' is already over and will grace the theaters as a Vishu release. The movie directed by T Aravind featuring action king Arjun as the other lead hero will be released with the title ‘Aaruvadai’ in Tamil.

The second Mammootty flick is the special effects movie ‘Pattanathil Bhootham’ in which Mammootty is playing a double role. The movie will in all probabilities will grace the release stations by the end of April or by the first week of May.Since the movie demands a lot of post production works and special effects works, the exact release date of the movie is not yet out.

Which will be the superhit vishu film??Lets wait for it..

To Harihar Nagar is the second part of the movie In Harihar Nagar which was one of the mega hit of all time.This film Features almost all the same cast of In Harihar Nagar.''Thomas Kutty.....Vittoda'aa........'', few of the regular Mollywood viewers will forget this catch line from the movie which literally was filled with ''a laugh a minute '' sequences.

It was in the year 1990, when this movie ‘In Harihar Nagar'’ directed by the hit duo Siddique -Lal came out as a trendsetter. The movie featuring the second level actors in terms of popularity soared high in hit charts and started a trend of small, but successful films which lasted for yet another decade.

Years later, Siddhique and Lal got separated after six big hits and Lal turned out as a hit producer and a successful actor with many great screen characters to his credit.Anyhow, exactly after 18 years from the original, Lal is now turning an independent director, by creating a sequel to his big hit of the nineties. Tilted ‘To Hariharnagar’ the movie is in the last phase of post production and will grace the theatres by the second of April as a Vishu release.

‘To Harihar Nagar’ is planned as an out and out comedy , like its original with the same lead of four intimate friends - Mahadevan(Mukesh), Govindan Kutty (Siddhique), Appukkuttan (Jagadheesh) and Thomaskutty(Ashokan), all in a new mature look and makeup .

All of them except Thomaskutty have already left Hariharnagar, living apart after their marriages and are into very different jobs. After a big gap they are now planning to come together again to Hariharnagar, to celebrate the marriage of the last of the bachelor in their group, Thomaskutty.

With all their basic instincts still intact, the four men team again go back to their older days when they find that they have a beautiful neighbour bar singer ( Lakshmi Rai). As the four try out various mischievous ways to get to know the beauty, they ran into newer troubles which form the rest of the hilarious comedy.

‘To Harihar Nagar’ produced by Lal creations and PNV associates, will also feature Rohini, Lena and Fabi as the wives of the characters played by Mukesh, Siddhique and Jagadheesh respectively. Scripted by the director himself, the movie will be having songs set to tune by Alex Paul. Lal has already shot for a remix version of “Unnam Marannu” the famous hit song from the original movie, for this sequel.

The movie is cinematographed by Venu, who is making a comeback to Mollywood after a longtime.Expected to be on theatres from this Vishu, ‘To Hariharnagar’ will be one of the most awaited movies of the year.
