Bhoomika Chawla as Mohanlal's heroine
Much popular South Indian actress Bhoomika Chawla is going to make her debut into Malayalam film industry through the film Bharamaram. This is director Blessy's new film, which is said to be a thriller by nature. Superstar Mohanlal is the main lead in this new film. Mohanlal will play the role of a lorry driver in the high ranges. The film will feature vengence as it's main point.
Even though this is Bhoomika's first film in Malayalam, she is a well known celebrity in Kerala with her Tamil as well as Telugu films running successfully in most of the theatres. The shooting for the film has already started at Kochy. One of the highlights of the movie is that Mohanlal will sing a song in this new movie, set by the team of Anil Panachooran and Mohan Sithara.
Others in the cast are akshmi Gopalaswamy, Murali, Baby Nivedhitha, Suresh Krissna and Murali Menon. This new film will be shot at Munnar, Nelliyampathy, Marayur and Pollachy, in the following days and will reach the theatres by the month of July.

After the little Success of Red Chillies,Mohanlal will have a release this April with Parashanth Maampully's 'Bhagavan'.In this film Mohanlal is doing a character of Dr.Balagopal.According to the reports Mohanlal film Sagar Alias Jackie Reloaded will hit theatres this march.
Bhagavan,A movie completed within a shooting schedule of 17 hours, this full length feature at around 130 minutes tells the story of a terrorist attack on a hospital and how the team of doctors led by Dr Balagopal, enacted by Mohanlal offers resistance to the ploy of the terrorists lead by the character played by Daniel Balaji. The movie also features Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Lakshmana in other important roles.
Meanwhile, the shoot for Mohanlal - Vishu flick 'Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded' - a sequel to 'Irubathaam Nootraandu', a big hit of the eighties, is almost complete. The movie directed by Amal Neerad was shot at exotic locations at Dubai and Kashmir. Cinematographed by the director himself, the script work is done by veteran S N Swamy.

Mammootty's Vande Matharam finished
Superstar Mammootty's one of the highly anticipated film Vande Matharam has finally completed it's shooting. The film was under production for more than one year now. The film is a big budget billiungal movie made in Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously. The film will also feature Tamil action star Arjun in a prominent role. The film is titled as Aruvadai in Tamil.
The film is all about the story of a group of police officers who go hunting for a group of terrorists who have been creating havoc in the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. This film was finished with a whooping expense of about 14 crores by producer Henry under the banner of Pankaj films. Director of this investigative action thriller is Aravind.
In this film, Mammootty will play the role of Southern zone command director of the Intelligence bureau, Gopi Krishnan who is assigned the task of tracing the plans of the organization and stopping them from creating any damage. He will be assissted by Anwar Hussain (Arjun) who joins the group on deputation from the State police. The execution of demolishing terrorism forms the climax of the movie.
The film will feature two heroines, Sneha as a pilot and wife of Gopi Krishnan and Sharadha Arya as an ornithologist. Deepak J.D. makes his debut as the deadly villain. The action sequences of this action packed film was choreographed by the popular stunt man Anal Arasu.

Review : Red Chillies
Shaji Kailas and crew yet again show their magic through Red Chillies.Editing, camera movements, sound effects, dialouges and all are perfect in the movie. Mohanlal is good and has done his job well. What can he do alone when all he technicians falters.The appearance is super.The main feature of the film is the appearance of Mohanlal.
Mohanlal looks soo handsome in this film. The story of 'Red Chillies' is shrouded in mystery. Mohanlal plays lead character OMR(Oiyarathu Madathil Ramanathan), an affluent NRI who does oil business in Singapore. He also runs a FM radio station in Cochin. Though nothing much is known about the man he is brought into limelight when an accident on a New Year eve happened. Mohanlal operates from Singapore, and he lands him in Cochin in second half.
This film would have been done without red chillies. And who are these red chillies? It's a band in Kerala which has the caliber to get Grammy award, according to OMR.Role done by Thilakan is good. Roles done by Siddique, Maniyan Pillai Raju and other actors are just being part of the game so as to make OMR a hero.
Negative points in the film are when people get out of theatre they won't even remember the face of any of these jockeys, or can aptly be called jokers. Parts done in Singapore and major resorts are good. There are lots of sycophants in this film for the character OMR, no one knows the reason.A lot of unwanted characters are spread in each scene. The character OMR does everything but no one knows how. As these directors can't even satisfy viewers from their own state how can they think of making people outside satisfy.
The film is not very bad. It may run to 75 days in major canters and will be called a hit. The problem with this kind of films are they wont stay in peoples mind, nor viewers wont like to see again.Suspense of the film are super but the way by which suspense revealed is very bad.
But Surely it will be a superhit and the first hit of 2009.I am giving Red Chillies 3/5.We can wait for Next Mohanlal film Sagar Alias Jackie Reloaded.

Aadhavan,Surya's New Movie
After Ayan,Surya's next film is Aadhavan with K.S Ravikumar.Udhayanidhi Stalin will produce the film and after kuruvi it is the first time Udhayanidhi Stalin produce a film.Nayanthara is the heroine in this film.This is the first tim Surya and nayanthara acting together.

Mamata débuted in the Malayalam film Mayookham in 2005 directed by Hariharan. Although the film did not do well at the box-office, Mamta attracted attention for her sensitive portrayal. Her breakthrough was the role of Mammootty's sister in the successful Bus Conductor.

Mamta got the offer to act in Homam which was directed by JD Chakravarthy and released in Sept 2008. She sang two songs.She recently acted in the movie king directed by srinuvaitla and also sang title song for the movie where she got great applause for both her acting and singing..
Mamta once wanted to become a motorbike racer because of her love for speed and her interest in motorcycle riding. She loves to race in open roads at over 200 km/h on her Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle.

Bhramaram,Blessy's new film with Mohanlal
‘Bharamaram’ , is the new film doing by Blessy with Mohanlal in lead role.Last day Director Blessy has finalized the title for his new Mohanlal starrer.The pooja and recording of the film was held at Highway Gardens in Kochy last week. Four songs by the Mohansithara - Anil Panachooran team were recorded following the pooja.
Earlier we reported that Blessy had plans to name the film 'Kanal'. But the director after a long and hard thought has opted for ‘Bharamaram’. This will be a thriller and the first of this kind from Blessy. Plans are on to start filming by the end of this week.
Blessy's new flick 'Bhramaram' which is scheduled to start its shoot by the tenth of February will present Tamil actress Bhoomika into Mollywood. The movie's script largely based on family ties and an old vengeance will also feature Lekshmy Gopalaswamy, Murali and Baby Nivedhitha.
Blessy has finalized the locales for the movie and as per the initial plans the movie will be shot at Marayur, Coimbatore and Ernakulam.Blessy's earlier movie with ‘Thamathra’ which told the plight of a man struggling from Alzhiemer's disease was a big hit in Kerala. The movie even fetched Mohanlal, many awards for the best actor.

Renjith to act again
Notable Script writer as well as director Renjith have turned himself into an actor very recently. Renjith is famous for his ever green record breakers with Mohanlal like Narasimham, Devasuram, Aaram Thampuran and Ravanaprabhu etc. Renjith started his acting career with recently released Gulmohar, which was directed by the popular director in Malayalam, Jayaraj.
He has also acted in his own movie Thirakatha, that featured Prithviraj and Priyamani in the lead. Both the roles performed by Renjith in these two films were well appreciated by the viewers. So he is now going to take acting as a serious one. He will be seen in the new film, Robinhood to be directed by veteran Joshy.
Also he is planning to play a pivital role in his own script for the film Loud Speaker featuring Mammootty in the lead and to be directed by Jayaraj. Renjith is also planning to start a film by his own, which will feature Mammootty in the lead and it is now titled as Palery Manikayam.

Nagma is one of the most sexiest actress in the south indian film industry. She had done a lots of charactres in tamil , malayalam, tlugu, hindi etc.Nagma had considerable success with her 1990 hit debut film Baaghi: A Rebel for Love, co-starring Salman Khan; she was 15 at the time. Bala’s Naan Kadavul - Review
Few filmmakers make is stunning every time they make a film. When few amongst them just copycat the immortal films of world-famous filmmakers and pretend themselves to be innovative, there are very few who brim with distinct themes as they get themselves more involved in the issues. Yeah! ‘Researching’ happens to be the basic factor of their works and Bala is awesome when it comes to him. Precisely, in few words if you wanna know the verdict of ‘Naan Kadavul’ – ‘It’s Fantabulous, wordlessly stupendous and what else? Put the most appreciative words never used before’
Striding right towards the most peculiar land of Varanasi with Saadhus and Rishis, it isn’t an easy task of picking a different category of people who had never ever planned to face the camera. Of course, none had ever attempted on making such a film. Again you may think about the factor; is it a film Bala has made for ‘commercial masses’ or ‘offbeat film buffs’. Its better you decide after watching the film as everything goes on pars.
As it happens more in India, where fathers abandon their son due to the foretelling by astrologers, Bala deals with similar plotline. An idiotic father abandons his son (If you are an ardent believer of Lord Madurai Veeran, you should’ve know it better). The son Rudra (Aarya) moving from Tamil Nadu to the holy land of Varanasi grows up amidst of aghory Saadhus who aren’t the ones you usually spot moving around with saffron wears *(Most of them are so strange in reality that they kill the persons all of sudden, eat the half burnt dead bodies).
Nearly after 15 years of time, father realizes his mistake and sets out in pursuit of his son. For his wrong guess, the son isn’t the one happily moving around as a contemporary youngster. But a thick-bearded, long haired Saadhu enunciating mantras with different languages. With many efforts, he brings back his son to Tamil Nadu with a belief that he can lead a happy life with his family. But again, his guess goes wrong as Rudra doesn’t get involved in the family. He continues living a Saadhu life and here Bala introduces a severe problem of tortures prevailing amongst beggars. Rudhra comes across the beggars where most of them physically challenged. One amongst them is Hamsavali (Pooja). They are tortured by the cruelest entity (Thandavam)… Now, he has the words of ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ in his heart and soul and takes his turn of making things right. Perhaps, as you all know what would be Bala’s climax… More shocking that will cause your heart malfunctioning at least for couple of seconds…
Aarya’s performance is mind-boggling on all vistas. In fact, you’re sure to get surprised is he an actor who just played chocolate-boy roles. He is awesome enunciating dialogues from Sanskrit and Hindi and how could he learn the tactics of yoga gestures that would be a hard task even for real sages initially. A milestone in Pooja’s career that carries off with her innocent characterizations and as a desolate woman, she gets your hearts melted. Thandavam, a new villain in Kollywood does an astonishing job and even he gets you draw a terrible feel on him. Moreover, the artists who including the young beggar boy evoking some humor quotients is spellbinding. Also, the most pathetic kids of mentally and physically challenged gets an emotional feeling.
Musical score by Ilayaraja has the best hand in presenting the visuals as a big show. He touches the lines of anger, frustration, emotions and pitiable with his grand tunes on both songs and melodies. Cinematography on the pars by Arthur Wilson is splendiferous on capturing the most fantabulous shots of Varanasi and River Ganges.
‘Violence’ is something that suitable for few groups. You’ve to be strong-hearted and get ready for the stunts, especially the climax sequences where Aarya is spotted on the peak of all anger and violence against unjust.
On the whole, Bala’s Naan Kadavul wouldn’t just stop fetching ‘National Awards’, but it has a grand round to make across the globe. Everyone in the unit would leap with laurels by the critics as well masses. Pyramid Saimira, producers of the film can seek favorable results with this film.
'Red Chillies' on Feb 14
After so much waiting,‘Red Chillies’ is confirmed to release on feb 14th.The mohanlal starring film red chillies is all set to release and the fans are eagerly waiting for it.The film has been scripted by A K Saajan and is directed by Shaji Kailash.The film has been produced by Rajaputhra films and distributed by Vaishakha.
With no real competition, the film is expected to reap rich dividends for the producer and distributor.The movie has Mohanlal as Omar, an NRI who runs an FM station. Singer Renjini Jose will be making her debut as an actress with this film. Others in the cast are Thilakan, Vijayaragahavan, Jagathy Sreekumar and nine new faces who appear as RJ's of the FM station.

Kapoor portrayed the role of Naaz, a Bangladeshi girl who falls in love with him while migrating to Pakistan. Her performance was acclaimed by critics; Taran Adarsh of indiaFM wrote, "Kareena Kapoor has a magnetic personality, which will make the viewer fall in love with her instantly. What surprises you is the ease with which she emotes the most difficult of scenes There's no denying the fact that she is a natural performer who is very camera friendly." Kapoor's performance earned her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award, and Refugee went on to become the fifth-highest grossing film of the year.

Mohanlal's 'Casanova' to start this April
Mohanlal's new film Casanova is ready to start by April second week.The film is directing by the Director Roshan Andrews,the Notebook fame. The movie casanova will feature Lakshmi Rai, Priyanaka and five super models.The movie is planned as a romantic thriller where the protagonist believes that love can cure crime.
Lal is playing the role of a businessman who makes big money with the flower business based on Vienna.
