Vijay's upcoming movie Vettaikkaran was finally confirmed to release on Dec 18th as christmas release. The movie was earlier confirmed to release on Diwalli and at the last moment it was postponded. The movie completed its entire shooting with a song sequence in Pune and is almost ready to hit the floor. Sun Pictures has announced last day that the movie will hit the screens on December 18th.
On the other hand sources close to the film had it that ‘Vettaikkaran’ has passed the scissors of censor with a U/A certificate last week. This 49th movie of Ilaya Thalapathy has Tollywood’s oomph lady Anushka pairing opposite him and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan. ‘Vettaikkaran’ has cinematography by Gopinath and editing by V T Vijayan. Vijay Antony, who is scoring music for the first time for a Vijay movie, says, “Usually, people say my compositions are full of energy. But, when they combine with Vijay’s energetic steps, the effect is bound to be something else."
